Got the call from my recruiter this morning. ProRec-Y for SNA. I’m glad that wait is over! Sounds like I’m looking at a September OCS date but I will not know for sure until next week.

Congrats to everyone selected so far.
Congrats! Hopefully there are some September OCS dates available because I'm trying to get going ASAP. What I've heard from my recruiter though is that the soonest ship dates available seem to be in October and afterwards.

Has anyone contacted their recruiter today and they didn't have results yet?

Well, after texting my recruiter yesterday to find out status, he got back to me today to say that we'd missed the August boards (this despite previous assurances that he'd been able to push the application through...).
I'll thank MEPS for the holdup on that one—it took them 2 weeks to send him the correct records (seems that somewhere in the system someone else and I have the same name) and another week to inform him that I needed an additional—female—test.

So it goes. Is this normal ?

Signing off to wish you in the August round all the best !

After looking back through the last board thread, it took 16 days to hear back for most people, 23 May to 8 June. So, I'm counting on hearing by at least 31 August (hopefully earlier). OR said his processor checks daily and there is no word for me yet. Good luck to all those still waiting!

Just got Pro Rec Y for SNA but I haven't even been medically cleared. Still waiting for medical consult results for PRK I had some several years ago. Looks like I might get DQ'd. Hope a waiver gets approved.

That’s strange. You need a PQ N3M in order to make it to board. The boards won’t entertain not having one.

Looks like I was a non-select for this board. My recruiter told me he was surprised and he's getting the chief recruiter to get some feedback. Right now it looks like it was because my motivational statement talked more about being a Navy Officer rather than a Naval Aviator. I'll just have to rewrite it and apply for the next board. Congrats to everyone that was selected though.

Damn, you also got very good scores! I mean you’re suppose to be an “officer” first “aviator” second.

I didn't mention aviation once in my statement so you may want to see if anything else was an issue
