Selected for this class a couple weeks ago for SWO. I'll be coming from Boston, if anyone in that area wants to carpool.

Are you SURE you don't mean a selection letter? Normally this stuff is people's own business but I want to know whether I should pester my recruiter for my orders as well. It seems really weird to me send a PCS order 2 months before it can be executed. The PCS order is the one you shouldn't surrender/make 5-10 copies of that changes your command from NORS "fill in the blank" NRD "fill in the blank" to OTC Newport for example. The selection letter says congrats and a caveat paragraph at the bottom telling you it's pending successful completion of "fill in the blank" etc. Or I guess a third option is you are already in the fleet on active duty. So let me know please haha I am gonna spam my recruiter if it is actual orders^^

Man, I don't know why but almost every time I see (read) one of these threads regarding an upcoming OCS class, I get pretty stoked...probably because I went through the same thing back in 1986 when applying and then waiting for the start of our AOCS class date. When I read your posts here...I can FEEL IT.

Anyway, I wish all of you well come 14DEC14...GO KICK SOME ASS in Rhode Island!

Sorry been offshore for a bit. Ya it was my actual orders that I have to bring to get on base. Some official looking form that I submit when I get on base

It all makes sense now thx for the reply, I got the orders yesterday and the flight stuff today. My station said it's because of the holidays coming up and people taking leave etc.
