Called the IW manager, he saw my package, so it made it to the board. Tried like 4 different phone numbers to NRD and OCS help desk with no luck. Just in time for a 4 day weekend... sweet.

Medsuses, sorry to hear your package didn't make. I hate how careless this application system is on wasting peoples time and hours that is put into these packages.

I think so, I had a phone number from his signature when he emailed me back saying my package was processed. Seems like all the numbers I called would go to different mailboxes each time, strange... either way, nothing happening until Tuesday now.

Sometimes the issue of not making the board is on the applicant, if the applicant doesn't turn in the application with enough time to get properly reviewed it may never make the board.

I get that. I can't imagine how much time it takes to comb through each package that gets submitted!

Some people spend hundreds of hours on putting these things together. So a simple email saying it did not make it, or something is wrong, would only take 60 seconds and would seem appropriate instead of just leaving people hanging in limbo.

Yes, ideally that happens so they don't wonder

I had everything in two weeks before the NRD due date, it got bounced back for a dumb issue (other known names not listing Jane Anne Doe, Jane A Doe, AND Jane Doe) which was fixed within a day, but once my recruiter resubmitted it to his superiors they never pushed it on further, and my recruiter changed positions so he didn't realize. He only realized when he called his old command to check on the status

That is frustrating

Yeah, seems like applicants off the street have a rougher time on making sure things are good to go compared to fleet applicants like myself. I feel for you guys.
