Figured I would go ahead and create this thread for everyone applying for the July pilot/NFO board.
Hopefully this time will turn out better for me.... third times a charm right? ;)

HEY! I'm assuming I got the board date right? Judging from past posts and the file you uploaded in another thread NPC isn't up to date. Their board schedule is current as of last November... gotta love the speedy navy websites.

Hi all checking in,

I thought I was going to submit for the April board but some things came up and I ended up not. I will be applying for the July board. I have my second attempt MEPS depth perception test this week to submit to N3M for my approval letter. I'm pretty positive I'll be aged out for SNA by the time I graduate but I think because technically I'm under the cutoff now, N3M wants the test done for the letter? Either way it's not a requirement for SNFO and while the dream has always been to be a Naval Aviator, I can't think of too many jobs better than being an NFO as a Naval Officer so I'd be grateful for either opportunity.

ASU May 18
GPA: 3.75 BS Health Sciences
Prior Service E-5 USMC 4.5 years UAV Operator
Civilian Contractor UAV Pilot/ Mission Commander
Tattoo Waiver
Age Waiver
57 7/8/8
4 LOR's O5, O4, O3 Naval Aviators, O3 SEAL

You're not eligible for SNA due to your age and the fact you don't graduate until next year. Ask your OR or Processor to flip your N3M cover sheet to NFO and you should be okay.

Well I'm certainly no expert, but if I had do assess based on the little I've learned on this site.

GPA isn't great, but I've seen others with similar get selected.
ASTB is essentially right in the competitive window
I'm sure the Private Pilots Cert is a nice bonus to your package.
No idea about the Civil waivers and how that plays into selection.
