10 March 2013

10March OCS FS SNA
I graduated last week. This wasn't an issue. I thought it might be, but I brought them in and no one said a word about it. They check your stuff just to make sure you're not brining in stuff like Tylenol or Advil.

That's really great (and comforting) to know, thank you! Were you able to keep them in your locker or did you have to keep them stored away? I've got a bunch of the "single dose" type but should probably bring a small bottle as it would be easier to carry around.

And congratulations! I so wish I were in your shoes! 10 March is coming up fast. Any other bits of advice you could offer the group would be greatly appreciated.

You can store stuff like that in your wall locker, which is in your hatch. I stored my small eye drop bottles there.

My advice is pretty standard: memorize as much of the Big 4 as possible before showing up, be in great shape at check in and enjoy hanging out with friends and family before you go.

Once the chaos begins, just be as loud as you can and never forget why you're there: to earn a commission.

There is a saying at OCS that the days are like weeks and the weeks are like days. You'll find this couldn't be more true.

I received my recruiter's email moments ago while taking advantage of free WiFi on an early-morning train to Florence. I'll be seeing you all 10 MAR!

I'll be seeing you folks as well (and I'm glad I'm not the only baby of the bunch).
