You will have to use the running shoes issued for wear and inspection. Won’t be able to use your own running shoes.
Well there goes my plan of using good running shoes.

Better now than figuring that there, it sucked!
Crap. Really? I got a letter from my friend there now and they said they were allowed to use the running shoes they brought for RLP and such, and run/everyday activities in the NBs.

It started w/ 10-18 and all the way up to 14-18, I wouldn’t know about 15-18, but I would doubt it. As any civilian clothing is “contraband” and has to be stored in the locked up “lucky bag” (suitcase). There is a brand new OCR hot off the press since April FYSA. But, bring them, the worst thing that happens is having you not use them.
They started on the 09APR class, with even the new IST Memo in play, which is why I thought they'd have the most up to date information. Oh well. I'll bring my Brooks just in case. Doesn't hurt ?♀️

Lol yeah the new IST thing. It’s great. They do different things w each class. Glad to see you’re finally getting up there tho!
Haha that new IST thing is making me incredibly nervous. But I'm preparing so I know I show up with nothing left behind. Thank you for the info.
