Jets...I was told by a few pilots that if you say you want to fly anything other than jets people will think you're a dirt bag

I'd like to get a P-8 but I'll be happy as long as it has wings instead of rotor blades lol
Jets would be awesome. I hear P3/P8 hotel life isn't bad either, though. That being said, anything that's big and grey works for me.

Well in the enlisted route if you go patrol you're p-3/8, if you go the avionics (AWV) route you're looking at e-6/ep-3. For pilots if you go the "heavy" route its p-8/e-6. You can't beat never seeing a boat and leaving the navy with a 737/707 type rating. You walk right into an airliner gig.

Now hat we are on the subject lets list all the planes we can end up on.

F/A/E-18
E-2
C-2
P-8
E6-B
60 helo's and all the variants

Missing any?

Congrats monom!

In case this applies to anyone else- I was supposed to swear in and sign enlistment documents today, but I am on travel for work. We rescheduled for Monday (hoping I don't get delayed on this trip) and my OR seemed to indicate that delaying swearing in/and or signing could lose my spot in the class. I'm not all too worried about it, but I think if you have the option to swear in/sign asap to guarantee the class spot. It may be untrue, but just thought I'd post.
Also, does anyone know our class number? This is pure curiosity. I'm guessing 08-16?
