They told us to use the frog kick for the tread but I don't remember them actually checking to see if we were using it in the pool. Most people do fine with the 2 min tread part, I noticed most people struggle with the 6-7 min float more. Use the butterfly clap for the float if you're a sinker.

It shouldn't. I graduate in December 2017 and got a pro-rec from the last board. The earliest I can go to OCS is in about 10 months. As of now, you can apply a year out from graduating. I've seen a couple of people on this site do the same as I did with no issue.

Yes, their board took place Feb. 24th and people started finding out results the evening of Feb. 25th. I went back to look haha

I think last year's February board had about a two day wait, which is pretty good. The recent news about quick turnover rates for OCS dates may help too.

It was posted in the July board thread multiple times when people were finding out their result, so I just assumed that was it.

Feb. 2016 had about 116 applicants May 2016 had 146 applicants, but didn't accept many. They realized that they needed more people so that held a board two months after May. The July 2016 board had about 87 pilot applicants. 72 were selected. Source: this website haha
