Do not give up. I was selected for PAO not as an MC. I came straight in without prior military experience. You need to make yourself shine and highlight everything you have done from work, education and volunteer. They like to see well-rounded people.

As my OR would say, just stand by. Also, according to our SWO results, it took them only about 3 days to have decisions and more than a week beyond that for them to post to BUPERS. I know it sucks, but you shouldnt stress yourself out over something that is completely out of your control...

Hey there Tangerine, yours is the latest I have heard of. Also, you must've been in for FY17 or put later for open for availability. FINSELs even for SWOs have generally been quicker than 6 months to hear back.
