My SSO called and sent them my standing
https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/LaDR/is_e1_e9.pdf page 8, specifically the 3913 NEC. That's the carrot I think most people are after. It's a super small community on the enlisted side with even fewer opportunities for officers to do it.
The website he is referring to houses a majority of the administrative paperwork and data for a Sailor's career. For example, Evals, awards, contract documents, PRT scores, board results, etc. can all be found on BOL (Bupers online).
lmao. I've learned my lesson asking docs random questions.... One silver bullet & a pack of 800mg Motrin later I usually tend to feel worse off than when the conversation started.
Lol. I'll be the disgruntled prior talking about his glory days at the teams.... I can see it now. "Well in the NSW community, they do it this way..." lol.
A buddy of mine who got picked up on the last intel board just got his FINSEL letter and is shipping off the first week of August. The tricky thing now is timing the classes. I don't know how the holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas) will extend our stay in Rhode Island.
For those of us who are going to be in OCS while the transition to type III's happens, should we bring both sets of our uniforms (blueberries & Type III's)?? I don't see a reason to not bring my type III's just to be forced to buy a new set (I have like seven already).
That's surprising. I figured that since the forums were so quiet (compared to previous intel boards) and the next day results equaled low applicant numbers.
BUMP. Advancement is WIDE open for these two rates. Coming intel would be solid as well. If you have any questions on the intel community feel free to hit me up.
I’ve had a few buddies who had to go that route (with an eventual lat-transfer in mind). That option is definitely on the “front burner” depending on how the next two boards go. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t come down to that!
LadyAsh, I haven't heard of this breakdown sheet. I will ask around to see if any priors who got picked up included it in their packages. Hopefully your recruiter is just being very thorough and the sheet ends up not being a hard requirement. *sidenote* Fingers crossed for the SWO board...
I'm going through this right now and you were right... it is a nightmare. I'm trying to track down all of these old transcripts and figure out what my actual GPA is going to be since it will differ from what my transcripts say.
Thank you for that. I found his breakdown. I remember there was a powerpoint floating around with in depth statistics on the applicants who were & weren't selected. How often are those released?
