Nice, yeah the wife and I looked at the hotels but they were around 300 /night and the Navy lodge was already booked up. Ended up finding a home for rent for 150/night! There's a steak house that seems like it would suffice for the meet up; North End Steakhouse. https://goo.gl/5EB7uq

So tbh I'm not positive if he was my processor or what, but when I said processor I was referring to: when I did my security clearance and finger prints it was a guy different from my recruiter and he seemed to have a little more intel than my recruiter did, so I stayed in contact with him also...

He said soon; so I know there's the 9/11 date and an early Oct one. If I had to guess I would say we get the Oct date. What OR station did you go to? The one in North Aurora?

@james.hoofnagle I literally just got off the phone with my recruiter in regards to my FINSEL (I'm from the May board also) He said it should be coming soon he had another applicant that was SNA from the May board get his for Aug 21st. I was told mine is just waiting on the program designator.

Hey everyone I was recently selected for NFO and I have a general question that I can not seem to find a solid answer on. After OCS and API does an NFO or SNA get to choose the platform they want to fly? I know obliviously the needs of the Navy come first but does the candidate get to put...

It seems to be about 5-6 months to OCS from the date of being selected. I'm hoping we get an early Sept board, then maybe get out of OCS before Christmas.

Pro Rec = Professionally Recommended by the board to get you to OCS.

I called my recruiter and thank god he answered; he logged in and pulled up the list and confirmed what I got! I applied for SNA and NFO but got NFO. Which I'm ever so cool with that!! :D

\ Oh I'm sorry I didn't read the signature that you were prior. Yes, that selection rate was amazing! There were guys with lower ASTB scores than I got that got accepted. I hope I didn't miss out and we get another good selection rate. Finger crossed.

The 368's suck. That is the only reason I did not make the last SNA/NFO board in time. Best of luck. My suggestion is keep on top of your OR as much as possible.
