What is the current gauge on electric razors at OCS? Looking through this thread it seems they have been allowed/banned at various different times. Also, the coffee question definitely was not stupid, just quit it to do the withdrawal now rather than at OCS. Thank you for asking about it.

I didn't hear a specific term from my recruiter but that sounds a lot like what he said happened with mine at the June board. He said optimistic things about what it meant for whatever that's worth.

I suggest you take a look at the ASTB sub forum here even if you are only looking to prep for the OAR portion. There is a lot of good info there, both in terms of what books are best for improving different areas as well as gauge compiled by forum members. I personally found this thread most...

I heard that it was, but I've also been reassured that the 24-Oct SWO board is happening, so definitely taking that with a heaping of salt.

My recruiter just let me know that the next SWO board is October 24th. Do you know if the FY17 Board Schedule has been changed since this thread was made?

Just checked in with my recruiter. Program authorization still exists for SWO-Intel, they just haven't selected anyone, likely in years. That lines up with what I heard when I called NRC to check what SWO options still existed back in April for OCS applicants and was told SWO-Intel existed, but...

Just heard back. Wasn't recommended this time around for SWO-Intel, but they decided to have my application looked at again by the next board.
