Got the call as well. October 2. I go next week to swear in!

I was just thinking the same. Its brutal indeed. I guess swo is on the back burner? I'm getting close to a year since I turned in my application.

I called my OR and he said he hasnt heard anything. Feels bad man. On the other hand my pft gets better every week I wait.

Ya I do a mix of strongman and bodybuilding. It's an odd mix but I enjoy it and have made some great progress. I'm 220 at the moment so I need to probably lose some muscle mass before OCS :(

Max out the push-ups and sit-ups but my run sucks. Working to get the run up to snuff. Other then that just waiting for the news and sweating out the 105 degree days with a broken AC unit lol.

I was just downsized from my job as well since they knew I am process for OCS. My lease ran out and I couldn't renew due to the uncertainty of my future. So now I'm unemployed and living with my parents. I fell like such a loser lol. Oh well the wait continues.

Ha-ha ya a lot of guys ignore legs. I hit them 2x a week. I compete physique because I'm not into the whole steroid thing that is a must in bodybuilding. And Im not into the fat power lifter life either.

Well one good thing about how long purgatory is is that it's giving me time to get my cardio on point and also grow a beard lol. I've been a physique competitor for awhile so that he only cardio I did was for fat loss not aerobic capacity. Also iifym is great!

There is some good info in the OCS thread. Appendix b comes to mind. Some decent things to memorize. Also I'll be running a lot more on pavement to try and avoid pesky shin splints later on.

My OR is out of Dallas as well. My OR didnt contact me but someone that said he was above him called me and said that the Dallas quota was meet this year and that they are putting me in the next SWO board. Does this mean I got a PRO-REC N or is it something different. My Kit was sent on Nov 4th.

Well I'm waiting on my results. The suspense is killing me. The low selection rate kinda worries me though. My recruiter didn't even know the board was this week so I might give him a call on Monday.
