Totally spitballing, but a few weeks ago my recruiter let me know my package was waiting on a single signature before they'd have my finsel and date. Yesterday he said it was signed, and that he'd have the letter/date today. If it really was a single signature, maybe the signer had a pile ready...

Some of my life experience (living/studying abroad in Africa, leadership of peers and some of superiors); I also work in a squadron right now - CO wrote one of my reference letters - and work into the culture well, though in a very limited capacity.

Thank you! I worked hard for it, I'm glad it paid off beyond the education in itself. To hear my recruiter, a few other non-tangibles helped me as well.

I have heard of that as well, and fairly regularly. The reasoning for this being a larger board, as I was told, is because the previous was so conservative. We shall see.

The IDC manager told me about the number of applicants and billets when I spoke to him months ago; the upcoming board taking in/selecting a good amount was from the Admiral who wrote my LOR. She's not in Millington and I'm not sure who she heard from, but I tend to believe her :)

That's why I'm not getting my hope up too high! As for the numbers - the 12-1300 was for the total FY, which would mean he was referring to Intel vice IDC overall. Thanks you!
