I've wondered this as well. Like what criteria is used to determine who gets an OCS date first, other than the obvious (age critical, designator critical etc...)

A little advice...(11 years in the Army and done my fair share of push-ups) Incorporate push-ups into your strength training every other day. Do pyramid sets (20,15,10,10, 15, 20 etc...) and build up that way. Also be sure to practice proper form and ensure you do the min before even thinking...

I'm currently 27 and prior enlisted. I got my waiver approved in June and made the July board and was PRO REC Y for SNA and NFO.

A Nov class would be nice.

Do we even know if there is a December OCS date? I would assume not because of the holidays, but we all know what assuming does.

Unfortunately i'm on an age wavier. I'm 27, but on a waiver i'm not age critical until 29. I was informed this would get me in no quicker.

Question for all you guys and gals who have been waiting in purgatory for awhile. Were most of you waiting to finish your degree? Does being prior service help get a finsel faster?

I appreciate it man. I was a little nervous with my astb scores but luckily it's a while packet concept and my OR said I had the best LOR's he has ever seen. I also had some significant combat experience a current TS among other things. Congrats to you also though! Maybe I'll see you at OCS.
