So I just heard from my recruiter a few minutes ago. I got super excited and was expecting to get a date, but he was just checking in. It is still a good thing because he NEVER calls me usually. He said he expects to hear a FINSEL by the end of the month! FYI, I was selected in Feb SNA board

Yea I am still waiting. I found out on the Fed. 27th. Based on some posts in the Final Purgatory thread, a few more FINSEL's were sent out late last week to people from the December and Feb board. As always, I am crossing my fingers in hopes of hearing something on Friday.

Try waiting over 3 months! :D I still haven't found out yet. Since others from my board are starting to get their date I'm hoping to find out soon too

Man I really hope I get a call on Tuesday with my Finsel. Anybody here from the December board?

Who told you July was already full or do you just think it is since you should've heard something by now if it wasn't.

I feel the same way. Whenever I try and talk to my recruiter he always seems annoyed and uninterested.

Damn dude I'm sorry. For some reason I feel like that's what happened to me, but I haven't heard from my recruiter yet. He isn't very good at communicating and when I try and reach out to him he seems very annoyed and uninterested. Let's just hope he at least got my package where it needed to go.

I was told by a couple people in the navy and army that it costs the government a lot of money to perform these security clearances. Basically meaning that they only do them if your being considered. Do you think there is any merit to this?

I was under the impression that you got the waiver before you even sent the package in. I had to write a statement of what happened and why I chose to not smoke after the incident( I was 17). So are you saying they decide if it is waiverable when they receive it?
