Well that's good news. I just finished filling everything out and sent it back to NRD, I'll keep everyone posted.

So I just got an email from NRD here in San Antonio with a couple of documents to fill out and return (W-4, pre-enlistment info, etc.). I don't know if this means my letter is here or if it's just another step in the process to getting my letter later. Have any of you received this?

My recruiter told me 1-6 months, with it looking like it would be closer to 1-2 months.

Yeah I left at the beginning of August with the mindset that I would have ~60 days of prep...Saturday marks 60 days :/

Not a problem @Niko, never thought about that. Hopefully we all have the same date, it would make things easier having prior contact with a few classmates. @Pichardo I sure hope so...I'm ready to get this thing rolling

Are you guys currently working right now? I left my job a little while ago to dedicate my time to physical and mental preparation. Unfortunately, you can only gym/run for so long in a day, that it's hard to keep my mind off things since I'm not as busy as before.

Been there, done that lol. Been creeping for so long I feel like I've actually met up with everyone in Rhode Island before OCS for dinner about four times now.

This thread is the only thing that's keeping me sane at the moment. I get a huge surge of motivation to push through my workouts and runs when I see final select letters getting cranked out, followed by a couple days of having zero motivation when I don't get a call...

I thought there was a pattern as well, especially since my new recruiter said the hold up is mainly due to travel expenses. I figured the farther you are from OCS, the more it would cost to get you over there.

My recruiter texted me the other day that he's been hearing that it could happen mid-July. If that's true, and if the trend of two months prior to OCS stands true, we're looking at the 11 September board at the earliest.

I know exactly what you mean, I played football my first two years of college so weight training has always been a huge part of my life. I couldn't give it up completely, but I have now cut it down to 30-45 minutes of weight training (the super-sets help me cut it down). After weight training I...

What I've found that really helps on my weight training days is doing high volume and super sets for every exercise with 20-40 seconds rest between sets. I'm seeing great results from this.

You're telling me! I've been working overtime and doing the most with my days to keep the time flying. I'm hoping I get a good 2 months in advance on a date so I can plan some vacation time with my wife before heading off to OCS

Makes sense. When I went to MEPS a while back I remember having to go get some paperwork signed for a background check, so I believe I've already done that. My recruiter had mentioned that there's a "investigation interview" that needs to be conducted? Not sure what that is.

I was searching the thread (though I admit, not very thoroughly), looking for something in relation to what's the next step receiving pro rec y. What is the hold up to getting pro rec y and receiving the FINSEL?
