If we are assigned OHARP, where do we need to be? My closest recruiting station is in Tampa, FL, which is a 1.5 hour drive from home. I have a rudimentary understanding of OHARP, so I might be missing something here.

What's the shortest amount of leave you've heard of, post OCS?

Is there a set amount of leave granted to OCS graduates, does it change depending on designator, or does it just change based on individuals? Wanted to try and plan for after graduation a timeline for seeing family and such.

I did read in an article in regards to this topic that a large portion of the funds is being used towards continuation pay, for the 8 to 16 year range. So signing for another 4 years is supposed to net a larger "bonus." unless I misinterpreted the writing.

From what I've read here, you can opt for a 40% pension after 20 years of service, locked until you're 60 years old, or a 5% matched contribution for the duration of service? With the 40% pension, does the plan still offer another 2.5% additional for every year of service after the 20?
