    21 AUG

@navygraig A question here regarding some confusion with when/where to report. My flight lands in Providence at 2230 on Aug 20, and my recruiter said to head to King Hall on base immediately, where I will stay that night before check in on Aug 21. Is that correct, or do I need to book lodging...

    Final Select Purgatory

@SWOMan I wasn't age critical no, I somehow got lucky and only spent 2 months in here. I was selected May 18. A few weeks back there was talk in here about someone getting a call asking if they could be at Newport in 48 hours because they needed an NFO to fill an OCS slot; well, I was that guy...

18 MAY PILOT NFO ROLLING BOARD

I only applied for NFO, can't speak to pilot results. Did you apply for both? I would imagine they're all released together. Edit: Everybody who has posted so far has been NFO, so maybe I'm wrong.

18 MAY PILOT NFO ROLLING BOARD

I'm not sure whether they get posted all together. I just decided to call my recruiter as soon as I saw other people posting their results, and he said they were posted then called me right back with the good news.

Critique on ASTB section study method...

@Caesium my experience during the actual test was that I got the same specific questions over and over again. I'm glad I had put in the time to practice extensively beforehand as well.

Disqualified for a disease I do not have

Hey all, I was having some issues getting MEPS to see me for a physical, so my recruiter submitted my records directly to N3M. He got back to me with the news that I was disqualified for eosinophilic esophagitis (EE). I went back to my medical history and looked through my documents, and had a...

    MEPS Refusing to See Me?

Thanks for the responses. I understand all, hopefully I can get it all figured out.

    MEPS Refusing to See Me?

@NavyOffRec I appreciate the input. I would find it hard to believe that "history of" either of those 3 issues is disqualifying, none of them are debilitating at all. As for being fit for normal life versus fit for military service, I can't think of any reason why I would not fall into the...

    MEPS Refusing to See Me?

Hey all, I've submitted all of my medical documents to my recruiter, who then sent them on to MEPS, and they requested more information (and letters from doctors) about 3 particular previous injuries/illnesses: 1) When I was in elementary school, I had an endoscopy and was diagnosed with a few...

1,001 questions about the ASTB (post your scores & ask your questions here!)

@cdespres99 I would say those math questions do a good job of showing you what some of the more difficult problems on the test might look like. I had some that were much easier than those, and some that were definitely harder. My final question before being cut off (after about 15 questions) was...

First of all, I wanna say thank you to everybody on this thread and any other; your insight and feedback about the test was immensely helpful! I'll get around to posting an outline of my testing experience, what I studied, etc. but for now, scores: 69 8/8/8 Thank god that is over.

    ASTB BIRV Down?

Anybody else having an issue accessing https://birv.nomi.med.navy.mil/ in order to fill out the BIRV? I take the ASTB-E tomorrow at 11 PST and will be pretty disappointed if I'm not able to access my scores. For those of you who filled out the BIRV after the test, how long did it take to access...
