Do you mean DCOIC? I was finally gained by my command this week and got my military CAC today. I will start drilling next month. I'm trying to get into the September IWBC course...and will hit DCOIC next year.

So I was just selected for IW at the March 2015 board...and I found out today that there aren't any openings for an O-1 IW officer locally (Denver, CO.). NRC Denver told me there are 3 openings...Virginia, Maryland, and Hawaii. I'm told that if I pick Hawaii, I will get completely reimbursed...

Spot on...the Department of Navy civilian that built my package is a GS-5. Its hard to find a DOD civilian that low of pay grade where I work.

IW is more along the lines of what my experience reflects...I used the term "Intel" in a general sense. By listing IW first...I wanted the board to see that it was my first choice. If I wasn't selected for IW, I wanted Intel to also take a look to improve my chances of selection.

I'm still shocked that I got IW. My primary was IW with a secondary of INTEL. I thought for sure..if I was selected...it would be for INTEL since they normally only recommend a few (less than 10) each board for IW. This was my first board. Good luck to you guys. i'm sure you will hear...

Just found out that I'm PRO REC "Y" for IW!!!! Am I the only one that has received word on the results?
