I have heard there is a six month waiting period for civilians but I am not 100%, I would look in the opnavinst 1420.1b to find out for sure... also I wouldn't recommend turning down a prorec, you could always convert laterally once commissioned down the road... I don't know if turning it down...

Does anyone know if I submit a KIT with two potions on it (i.e. AMDO/ NFO) and the board dates for those selections are different, does the package go to both boards tr do i have to submit separately around the board dates?

No, I PCS'd and had a baby, I talked to Commander Edge, the AMDO community manager and the OCS help desk at PERS and got permission to submit

I am submitting my KIT in Monday, I got permission from the AMDO community manager to submit late (after the NRC due date) because of active duty. Good Luck everyone!

You cannot waive the age past the age waiver limits...if you are not selected on this board then NFO may loo longer be an option for you but that doesn't mean that other programs are out of the question...

Hey man, Yeah I know Dotson from HS-10, he was a CAT II and I was a CAT I in 2007 and went through the class together... Anyways I am applying for NFO and AMDO. I have an age waiver approved for NFO until Dec 2018 which is 31 years for me. Do you have an age waiver?
