"The Navy will put you where they need you", This is about what I expected to hear. Thank you for sharing your experiences, dont think i will have to redes but making sure I have a plan B and C.
Looking through the forum I have found a lot of posts about getting married but im wondering if being single vs being married has any effect while you are actually in OCS, with the high acceptance rates I have heard of some SNA's getting cut for some strange reasons. Would the navy look at...
Was told last Friday that my letter was in the system and was dated to be signed on said Friday. RO says he will get it as soon as it is signed, Does anyone have an experience in the time taken between when a letter was dated to be signed and when it actually got signed?
What was the outcome of said offenses were you charged or also found guilty? I was Pro Rec Y in December with two (Charges), I had to write some statements about what happened and bring in some court records. In my case one charge was dropped by the judge the other deferred.
How would this work, would he just have to tell his OR he cant make it to that OCS date due to an injury? Will he lose his Pro Rec or just be moved to a different class?
I grew up in Corpus, good luck surfing. You have to get the weather just right and it can be good. I would suggest the windsurfing route, but don't get me wrong I spent plenty of time surfing off Bob Hall and Jp Luby.
You are probably right. I don't have a certain date I need to leave after, hoping the OR didn't put something silly like august 2016 though. Maybe I should call the Chief.
Not super familiar with what that is. I don't remember putting anything down about earliest ship date. I saw my OR once during the whole process. He transferred about two weeks after my pro rec and now im working a Chief.
did anyone run with a compression sleeve on their leg or with a wrap? Im healing up from a strained muscle in my leg and the sleeve on my leg seems to help the soreness. Im also wondering if doing so would make you "stand out".
Can anyone else confirm that the time between doing this and getting a finsel is a few weeks? I'm working a sales job that is quiet terrible and would love to quit and spend some time with family before OCS, currently financially comfortable enough to be unemployed for about 3 months.
Got a call yesterday saying that my 86 and meps finger prints didn't mesh within 90 days of each other so I have to go get re finger printed before I'll get my letter.
