May 18th Pilot selectee checking out for the Oct 2nd OCS class.

Recruiter said today that they're trying to get me a FINSEL for the Oct. 2nd OCS date. Still waiting from the MAY 18th SNA/NFO selection board.

Has anyone else from the May 18th SNA/NFO board been told by their recruiters to plan for October??? Last week mine said to prepare for August/early September and this week he switched and said probably not until October. Can anyone relate?

I have considered NFO, but I thought the vision requirements were the same for NFO as for pilots? I could just be misinformed, but that's what I had always believed.
