Normally, the results of the Intel reserve board don't come out this fast and typically more folks would be chiming of their status if they were selected. I'm thinking something is missing in your package and your recruiter was letting you know not to expect to hear anything from this board.

If your package was submitted but not reviewed, it normally means something was needed/missing. But it's also possible they reached the limit for how many applications they wanted for the board. Make sure to find out which it was for you.

The Navy doesn't view cyber and information professional as equivalent. There is a high demand for cyber, referred to as Cyber Warfare Engineer by the Navy and only available for active duty. Very few are qualified to apply, hence the demand.

I think, like most reserve processes, there is most likely only one individual responsible for tracking and pushing enforcement - and is also most likely responsible for other areas also. Making policy changes is one thing, but having enough worker bees to execute it is another.

There's no reason to do that. If there is no openings locally, you can just be cross-assigned and still drill locally and the Navy will provide funding for you to drill quarterly at another unit. Unless there is just a particular place you want to go drill for personal reasons and don't care...

I don't want to presume, but depending on what occurred at OCS, they may have placed feedback in your record to not consider you for future Naval programs. Failing or being removed from OCS gives you an RE code on your DD214 that requires a waiver.
