What I meant was time available to take leave. From what I have heard we still have to report every day and must take leave similar to the fleet. I'm not sure if it will be the easiest three years though, a EE degree isn't what I would call easy.

Yeah, I am curious about this as well. In the NAVADMIN it said that we should expect to start NSI no later than February 13th, so that leaves about a month between the completion of that and the start of any summer term courses. It would be awesome if we get some time off in between.

I found that Arizona State is great. The cost per credit hour is a lot, but they have a scholarship that covers the tuition as long as you use TA. I am confident that taking difficult college courses and doing well in them is what put me over the top for selection this time. Don't ever give up...

Though I picked the 28th, I have been having this feeling that the results are going to be released today as well.

With each day that passes, the chances of the results coming out gets greater and greater. I get anxious every time the phone rings, as I am hoping it is someone calling with results.

I think at this point I only want these results to come out one way. There is a part of me that is worried about where my family will be living next year, but then I remember that after only a year or so of school I would be commissioned and back to ship life and it will all be worth it...

I was looking at this yesterday also. If you include FY 09 as well, and throw out the earliest/latest dates and times, since some of the values are way outside the norm, the average is the 21st at 1447 EST. Not that I am obsessing or anything.

I am always curious as to why the delay from the board convening to the announcement of results is always so long. I do not expect them out today, but it is not stopping me from refreshing this page or the NAVADMIN library.

When I made it I had to wait until December. It all comes down to where your final multiple lands compared to everyone else. I have only seen one person get paid early and she made it by 20 points.

Yeah, I wonder if those that didn't have their date updated at all last year had something missing from their package. This could mean that we have made it to the board, which would also be a good sign!

I had to update my command point of contact because the Training Officer transferred.

I am showing 22AUG as my last updated date. Hopefully this is not the early indication we are all hoping for. I am hoping to at least get selected as an alternate if not primary, and this is not helping me to feel any better about the results.

Some have been fortunate to get two quotas, but it's always safe to assume there will be at least one if they are taking applications for it. I know SWO/ED had at least two quotas the last few times it was available in FY 12, 13, and 14.

That would be amazing, however, I just don't believe the money is there for this program anymore. Only 50 selected for four years in a row, I see that trend continuing. If there is any good news that has come in recent years it is that the number of applicants has gone down from 710 applicants...
