    PRK After Pro Rec SNA?

the waiver guide says that it's a 3 month wait if you're refraction now is less than than -6 and 6 months if it's worse than -6. if you're farsighted (prescription is +X.00) then it's a six month wait... as for it looking bad turning down NFO and re-applying trying to get SNA looking bad, i...

    Pre op refractive limits

I'm pretty sure your oso is wrong on this one... the waiver guide says nothing about what your pre op vision was (20/XX), it only talks about pre op refraction. your prescription is fine so assuming all goes well you should get it waivered. as far as your timeline, i'm not 100% sure about...

    Pre op refractive limits

    PLC contract question

i did a search but couldn't really find anything that fits this question.. I want to go to PLC this summer and plan to start the application process very soon. However, I would need to get PRK surgery to be able to do the aviation option. Ideally I would want to be able to go this summer...

    Am I going too far?

i'm pretty sure my prescription falls outside the waiver-able limits (+6 and +5.5) although i would still be willing to be an NFO, though i worry about what will become of them in the future of the marines... don't want to end up "flying" uavs

    Pre op refractive limits

i've had a difficult time trying to find info that doesn't contradict other info i've found... deez, was that limit +/- 3.5 or just -3.5? also, does can anyone give an estimate as to roughly how often they revise the limits?

    Am I going too far?

i can sit at my computer for hours reading through articles or watching youtube videos of military aircraft.. i guess passion is what separates the people who become pilots from the people who don't ...i think i have enough passion but maybe not the eyesight :/
