I'm trying to ease into lifting at the gym with a basic program. This is what I came up with:
Tuesday:
Dumbell bench
Cable Rows
Skull crushers
Bicep curls
Thursday:
TRX stuff
Saturday:
Hammer curls
Leg Press
Lat pulldowns
Dumbell chest flys
Tricep extension
Anything obviously out of whack...
So does that mean we essentially need to choose a top two? My real preference would probably be Intel>Supply>NFO≥SWO, although I'm still debating it. It's sounding like Supply/SWO/NFO would be a best bet to get picked up based on what I've read, though?
edit: totally misread you
I think they're parallel systems, so turning one clockwise is the equivalent of turning the other clockwise. At least that's how it works when I visualize it in my head.
Pretty sure this should be a colon.
Should be "a participant" and "an individual."
The dashes are unnecessary.
I've been gone a while so I don't want to say too much (ask yakboy), but I don't like this.
Your point is probably fine. This is not a good way to express it...
Has anyone who's been through BDCP and OCS recall when they got reimbursed for their travel to Newport? I arrived and filled out my travel claim in early January, and I still haven't gotten my TDY (or whatever it is) money.
I had some stuff from an overzealous elementary school teacher back in the day, and the MEPS doctors agreed that I was good to go. Long story short, I spent a year in BDCP and 7 weeks at OCS before getting NPQ'd and sent home.
My DD214 apparently says that I was discharged because I was...
Looks like some people reinvigorated this thread in my absentia :) People without my problem of sparing people's feelings, if I'm reading this correctly ;)
Sorry to hear it, JSF. Sounds like you've got great support and a great attitude. I'm sure you'll bounce back and make the best of this.
Good luck and God bless.
He pretty much said that wasn't the case in his video.
Agreed. This is a point the fringe groups calling for his head could stand to think on for a moment.
I don't care about the language.
I can't wrap my head around how the XO could get two female sailors to reenact a scene from girls gone wild on camera without multiple bad idea alarms going off. On what level would it be acceptable for an XO to say, "Hey sailors, I want you head to the showers...
I get confused here, A4s. I agree with the first one. If you feel so damn strongly that something is wrong, take a stand. Maybe it'll end your career, but why keep serving in that environment?
But are you saying people who don't agree with this environment should "vote with their feet" by just...
Yeah. You'll probably need a form from your university saying if you take the right classes you'll graduate on X date. I got one from my uni; they were familiar with the process. Then, the uni will just send the degree transcript to your recruiter/processor once you graduate (although this is a...
I believe civilians can apply for direct accession to OCS when they are within a year of graduation. I don't know if it is the same for fleet applicants, but I can't see why it wouldn't be.
If you're worried about frat, somehow I doubt the solution would be to go from one gay sailor for every 15(???) straight sailors in berthing to a room FULL of sailors all theoretically lusting after one another. Unless you wanted to give every homosexual sailor his own private berthing. I could...
That's not the prevailing argument, though. It sounds like a straw man.
You want to start the list of long-held beliefs that everyone now knows were batsh*t insane?
Bull. Never in my life will I ever be able to touch my toes in the sit and reach. My physical therapist says maybe with another few months of therapy, which would equal 3-5 months of 1-3 hours/day of stretching. It's just genes. It's not a matter of f-ing willpower for some people.
Tough to say. Probably all of that. Doc says tight hamstrings, which is an understatement, but I can't even sit with my legs extended. I'm already at a recline of almost 45 degrees. It's literally an ab exercise just to sit like that. So I move a decent amount just to be able to grab my shins...
I've been worried about this since before I even enlisted. EVERY time I ask about it, I hear, "umm... idk. I've never heard of anyone failing that."
It'll be interesting for our class (looks like we have the same OCS date), since I'm absolutely certain of failing. So I guess we'll get our...
I thought of this article reading through that:

Off the top of my head, I would think you could also go to BBB to complain. Legally, nothing springs to mind except fraud, or something similar (if she led you to believe that...
TBC, I'll give that a try. I have rubber resistance bands and latex physical therapy bands. Which sounds more like what you have in mind?
Also, can you give me an example for someone who has never been on a motorcycle?
I'm nervous about restarting plyometrics. I'm not great with...
I'm 6'0, 165, so that's not it. I played through the shin splints this summer, which aggravated the hell out of them, but x-rays showed no permanent damage. I've been off them since mid-September, and I'm currently easing my way back into running. 2 laps walking, 2 jogging, 2 walking, 3 jogging...
Not doing this =/= not doing anything
Besides, if they want to ramp up security they could take an actual good idea that doesn't impose an absurd burden on fliers, of which I reckon there are a great many possibilities.
Good, because that's a strategy well established by history to be...
There is a continuum between doing nothing about the threat and insane, over-the-top police state overcorrection. The line must be drawn somewhere, and for me body scanning or pat downs is about 50 miles over the sanity line.
As for the profiling thing, racial profiling is going to be...
1) I wouldn't leave more than one message per week. Don't leave one at the end of the day or end of the week, for obvious reasons. I suppose you could call every day.
Find alternate means to get a hold of an OR. There are multiple recruiters in an office, and you only need to reach one of them...
This being the decision of a public school administration, my first reaction was that the stupidest possible explanation conceivable would probably be the case. Still, there has to be more to the story than Fox40 is letting on, right? Right? Local news not exactly renowned for quality reporting...
