Not sure if this information is buried somewhere on the site or not. OCS is no longer issuing hygiene gear. You can use what you bring or purchase some at the mini NEX on Indoc Sunday. Keep in mind the mini NEX stocks very little, so if you are picky bring your own.

In the faces of OCS video, I see the racks have 2 drawers under them as opposed to a coffin locker and they are open for RLP. Where is everything else being kept, the only thing I don't see standing open is the desk drawers.

I class up Jan 12th. So about a 6 month process for me from board to classing up.

Mine took just shy of 3 months if I recall, pretty well in line with the civilian folks. Once you get the Pro Y they kick your information over to medical for review. When they are satisfied and you have an open investigation which should not be an issue for active you will wait in a date...

I think you were pro recd which means you were selected and pending medical you will get a final select. At OCS you will get a flight physical which is the next hurdle. Where are you stationed? I know Oceana will give you a SNA flight physical. This will help alleviate a NAMI whammie at OCS.

Yeah, I have about 60 days accrued. I figured 10 was the norm between OCS and perm sury station but wasn't sure. I am a SWO so will probably be rolling straight to the ship without school.

I have seen similar issues with enlisted folks though not out of my station. Paper work is sent to MEPs and not really looked at but the liasons say everything is good to go....shipping day comes and the doctors say WTF, how come the paper work wasn't sent in. Ends up leading to a same day...
