My friend might be set to fail?

I have a friend he’s always wanted to join the military at first he went with the airforce because that is seriously into aviation, anyway he couldn’t continue the process because in one of his medical records it showed that he had some mental problems at a young age he stopped the process and went with the army. Now apperantly after he went to meps they dq him and now he has to go to a psych counsel because of past trauma. He’s been freaking out because google isn’t giving him answers and sadly I couldn’t help him, his concern is if they will look at other branches to see if he tried there or something. Does he have to worry about that and neither of us have a clue at what a counsel is. I just had to try this and see if anyone knew the answer as a attempt to calm his nerves, if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

Your "friend" should ask his OR.

Also, spell check goes a long ways...

When you say "mental problems," what was the diagnosis?

My phone is on spell check but if anything and most probably everything was typed wrong I’m sorry. I told him that as soon as he told me but he didn’t want to do that

No one cares about your excuses.

Tell "your friend" to do his own research, and talk to the professional Officer Recruiter who can give him the real answer.

MEPS records can be seen by all, the hard fact is that most people who are age eligible for service are not physically or mentally eligible to join.

I should also add certain conditions/disclosures could require a psych consultation from MEPS. For instance, if you had several traffic tickets within a period of time, MEPS might request a consult to determine if there isn’t a psych problem.
