Your squadron will almost certainly need you to have a passport. Last deployment, we had a couple of junior sailors that didn't have them and it was a pain in the ass. Not an option for a DH.
I pressed the issue with my CoC, they said they will worry about it when I get there. Only catching last few months of deployment, so I guess I miss out on a det site or two at worst.

Checking out next week, so moot point now...

A little closer to home, glad the VP folks from K-Bay were able to find refuge from the approaching storm on the NASWI flight line. Stay safe and hope for a glancing blow back home. Let us know what you need in the meantime.

Pyramid Rock and North Beach are better than white plains beach. Less sharky, too.

Even Haoles know this.

Sorry for askin' here but,
About the MPRA traditions

Seeing the VP-9 change of command in 2017, the relieved CO Cdr Regoli has been gifted with pretty nice small Orion model. Is that a tradition, i.e. each former MPRA skipper holds such beatiful little Orion on a table or bookshelf? If so - who produce these things? Looks much better than Hasegawa or Novo plastic-glued kit...

Many Asian companies produce. Google “wooden military models”

Only certain COs get the aircraft models. The ones that do know why, as does everyone else. The ones that don't also know. Sometimes more senior COs will get a model, but no one is sure why. But the more junior COs will know why.

I'm surprised this isn't more common knowledge to you, Max.

Anyone here ever try to contact NAVFIG (Naval Flight Information Group) to get a Jeppessen plate okayed for use? Trying to comply with CNAF 3710.7 and the fucking number to call in there (Page 3-21 for those who care) is garbage...

Any help would be appreciated...
