Another douche that has no idea how it works at an airline....

But for once, you did get one thing right, The union is a necessity and I've always said that on here.

Well it’s not just the show - here I am making 160k for riding in the cop car watching @mad dog alternate between dipping and gum chewing!!

So you’re like a combination between Paul Blart and a Greyhound bus driver. Literal tin-pot dictator. Fuck yeah.

Management wouldn’t give a shit about you if you didn’t have collective bargaining power.

Thank god every day you have a healthy union. Management would take my baggage fees out of your paycheck in a heartbeat if you didn’t.

Actually baggage fees go to the shareholders-take it up with them.

Cop motor, cop tires, cop shocks, cop suspension. Better then a center coach seat. Cigarette lighter fixed?
Affirm, sir...my P71 (first pic) has all the cop stuff that you mentioned from The Blues Brothers...just like the P71s I drove on patrol (second pic)...and the cigarette lighter has always worked. :D

The union is a necessity and I've always said that on here.

The more ai learn about 121 life, the more I can not imagine how you guys would survive without the power of collective bargaining and strong technical/safety advocacy that a well run pilot union brings.

I have had the opportunity a few times. I get word it is someone's anniversary or birthday, I'll mention it. If I know some family is going to Disneyland, I'll make sure they look for it when we come into SNA. I do sometimes make announcements standing at the front of the cabin if we are delayed, especially for maintenance. I have never made an announcement at the gate. Haven't really had a situation where it made sense. By and large the reaction is as observed in the article. People just trust the word of the Captain more than the gate agent, and they like to see the face behind the voice. It is actually unfair because, at least at my airline, the agents are pretty darn good at getting the best info to the paxs. They do not lie, regardless of what some of the public think.
