Sometimes theres an aviator draft, and sometimes theres not. When i got picked up, 95 out of 110 applicants got selected on one board. The one before that was like 40%. Keep submitting and itll happen eventually. Aviation could really give two shits about your degree or gpa. None of it is indicative of your ability to fly. The higher the ASTB the better. my opinion atleast.

Pretty sure some enlisted Sailors are laughing at the millenial applicants complaining about going NFO vice Pilot.

It's not a millenial problem. It's the general stigma perpetuated by society and pilots in the Navy that NFOs are the bottom of the barrel taking what they can get. So many Navy Pilots make fun of NFOs. I've seen so many civilians who make fun of NFOs too and always throw it out that they couldn't make it as pilot and that's why they're an NFO. The sailors see it from a different side though, NFOs are officers and still a critical part of aviation and the core mission of the Navy.

I have very similar scores to people who got selected for NFO, can anyone tell me why I was tabled?
I've been told that no one is truly "tabled" and that being tabled means there was some error with the submission of your kit to the board. I could be wrong, but I have heard this from multiple recruiters.

Pretty sure no one's been given any real news, good or bad, about SNA.

I was told yesterday I got NFO by NRC HQ, today my recruiter told me it was official I did not get SNA and asked if I would rather ship in 3 or 6 weeks. I hadn't seen anyone else here say it was confirmed they didn't get SNA, I found that interesting.
