It's my upper on his lower. Same upper that I've posted before, so yes, a CQBR Block 2 SBR. It has a SF -212A muzzle device. The rubber band is actually a SOB band (a little stronger than a rigger band) to hold the sling. They're very handy and I have them on a bunch of my stocks, as well.

Unfortunately, Flickr is crushing my photos now, so the focus isn't as sharp as it is in the original...

Starting up the reloading hobby; gotta feed the boys custom home-made food.

Q: Any shooting range recommendations around Pensacola?

Styx in Alabama is decent but only goes out to 200yds. heard good things about Escambia River gun club, Pensacola indoor is convenient and nice facility but really only good for handguns. Some guys I work with are thinking about going out to CORE solutions in Baker, FL.

It's been awhile since I was there, but the public range up north of town was where I usually shot. IIRC, Escambia makes you bring your own target frame, whereas they have them at the public range. The public range isn't any longer than Styx; I can't remember if it tops out at 100 or 200, but it's not any longer than that.

If those are the guys out near Crestview, I've heard nothing but good things. Not sure how public their set up is. Also, (and it's been awhile) reading the bio of one of their instructors can be an amusing read if you have any actual knowledge of what a helicopter AW actually does.
