SWO BOARD 04 NOV 2019

HawaiiIDC

PRO-REC Y IP 1820
Hey everyone. Just a heads up. CCC's don't really know anything about OCS/Board results. I was enlisted and went to OCS in 2015. One of my Sailors applied to this board, so I am constantly checking BOL because I have Command access and nothing is showing up yet. I just checked 1 minute ago, so active duty might have to wait until Tuesday. Kind of reversed since I found out before civilian applicants for my board. Good luck to everyone.

I've got a buddy that applied as an active duty applicant but he never got the CO's recommendation. What are the odds he'll get picked up for SWO?

Slim the processors most likely kicked it back to him for the CO’s endorsement. And if somehow it made it to the board with out that. I would say with the amount of applications accepted and the competition it wouldn’t be competitive... ( this is only opinion, I can’t say for sure)

Hello All,

Literally my first post on this site, but I figured I should since I was selected for SWO this board. Found out from my recruiter today.

Uh, some basic stats:
Age: 21
OAR: 58
Major: Integrative Physiology @ CU Boulder
GPA: 2.8ish
AJROTC and NROTC experience, civilian.
First time sending in a package, feels nice not having to do it all again. I look forward to meeting you all at OCS.

Congratulations wish I had my ish together at your age!!

That OAR score...okayyyy Genius! That test kicked my butt. Let's just say you have 20 up on me. I had to get an OAR waiver.

Hey thanks,

Originally the plan was to commission through NROTC, but didn't get selected for scholarship, so I graduated early and here I am!

Yeah that exam was pretty difficult and it was also my first time taking it, was really surprised at my score, was expecting to have to retake it.

Thank to everyone for your support. I hope to see all of you make it. I was able to find out by reaching out to a shipmate that had access to the resources. Unfortunately this is not something I can do for everyone or I would. PII is the major factor in this. Good luck to everyone still waiting and I look forward to meeting you in the fleet.
