My wait in FINSEL purgatory was made a little bit easier a couple days ago, if only for a moment.
I had flown into Corpus Christi, and then traveled down to Brownsville for work. I had my eyes to the skies almost the entire trip, waiting for a glimpse of any kind of navy aircraft. Unfortunately, that moment never came.
Finally, back at the airport heading home, when taxiing toward the runway, I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a few T-6 II’s and a T-45 sitting outside some hangars. I never thought I would be so excited to catch a glimpse of an aircraft ?
The Pic sucks, but it’s all I’ve got haha.

Checking in late! Was ProRec-Y SNA a week and a half ago, but I'm stuck in that familiar purgatory. I just graduated last month from college, which leads to two dizzying revelations: First, Command needs my final transcript in addition to the one I sent in with the packet (no problem, it's a whole .02 GPA points better! 
). Second, I knew I was going to graduate then, and set my availability date for May 23rd, same day as the board. So, if/when I grab that beautiful FINSEL letter, I'm probably shipping off to the earliest class they can strap me in to. I'm gonna have to double up my prt training!

Checking out. Just got off the phone with my recruiter and received my FINSEL. I’m in the September 23rd OCS class. I was PRO-Rec’d from the March SWO board. I’m so incredibly thankful for this thread. If you’re reading this, trust in your patience. Good news will come your way. Stay strong. Best of luck to you all!

Checking in, got selected SNA a couple weeks ago. OR thinks I won't be able to ship till August due to OCS trying to clear out some of the backfilled pipelines like SWO and stuff. Given that other people on here are getting July 22 I'm hoping he's wrong but we shall see!
