As far as my GPA goes, do I account for both my bachelors and masters degree?

What’s your ASTB score? You said you’re interested in aviation but only list an OAR score...

Ahh
So unfortunately, while I was taking the ASTB, the system crashed halfway through and didn't process my score. (I missed almost all of the spacial awareness questions because I didn'tunderstand what it was asking)

I have to take it again.

But besides aviation, do I have a shot at any other program?

It's kind of confusing why aviation seems to have a low GPA requirement.

I'll put my stats here for any people thinking about applying to Intel since I see mostly Pilot/NFO/SWO information posted and not a lot for the IDC folks.

BS Criminology 3.86
MPP Public Policy 3.86
OAR: 52
Prior enlisted, 8 years active duty Intelligence Specialist
20 years total Intelligence experience
LORs: Director of CIA/NSA/Deputy DNI, Active Duty Navy Intel O-4, Retired Navy Intel E-9

Keep in mind I know people with less than these quals that got selected for Intel but I've also seen people with MORE than these quals get selected for Intel. Hopefully other people from the IDC boards will post their stats here so prospective applicants can see where they stand.

Well, since there's only one human who has held all three jobs, I would wonder how well Michael Hayden knows you/ the extent to which Gen Hayden had direct observation of your work and can speak to first-hand interaction.

I’ll put my stats here, then, for people applying for Intel. I may be a source of hope for people with non-tech degrees, but I admittedly am part of a minority here, seeing as I was selected for IP.

Degree: B.A. English, minor Spanish (from. fully accredited four-year university)
GPA: 4.0
OAR: 51
AGE: 24
LORs: from professors, coworkers, and supervisor; one from brother, Navy enlisted Intel (CTR1); interview with an IWO (O5)
OTHER: Civilian, no prior service. Extensive leadership experience in civilian career and college.
APPLIED FOR: #1 IW (1810) and #2 Intel (1830)
PRO-REC Y for IP (1820) (first submission to board)

More specific details are in my profile.

Wow! Congratulations to you! Def gives me hope as a non-prior with a non-tech degree.

In addition to what RUFIO said I have had/seen at my NRD people selected for CW and IP with non-tech degree, a few over many years so statistically insignificant, but they all had near perfect GPA's, none had interviews with IWC officer, but they had LOR's from professors or employers that provided tangible data on their performance over years.

New to Air Warriors here...

So I'm applying for the aviation board for May 2018 and got an email from my officer recruiter saying they are expecting record low slot numbers for this board, so we should try and get my application in as quickly as possible.

Graduating in may from the University of Arizona

BS in Urban and Regional Development
Minor in Sustainable Built Environments
3.54 GPA
53 OAR 5/5/5

Am I a solid bet for Pilot/NFO? I'm taking the ASTB again next month to try and bump my scores up, but is it worth it to just wait it out for the beginning of the FY and apply then when there is apparently more slots?

The boards are already taking FY19 spots at this next board. Don’t let the FY mentality get to your head.

Your numbers are kinda low, expect a non select.

On the excel doc for FY 2018 boards, the last pilot/NFO board says "expect low board numbers." Does that mean that a lot of applicants are going to be tabled until the next board and fiscal year, or will they simply be rejected? I'm not likely to make that board since the soonest I can get to MEPs is May and I don't know how long N3M takes to PQ people.

My stats are in my signature, how do I look?
