You! Yes you, Ensign (or 2ndLt). You know you need a new set of wheels to showoff your newfound status and potential future fighter-pilot self. You also probably need something to blow that career starter loan money on, don't you?* So, in the words of Jay-Z, "come here let me coach you."**

Everyone at Seville Quarter has choker whites or blue jeans and issued aviator glasses.*** But do they have a proper, well-maintained, unnecessary German sportscar (3-series BMWs don't count)? Damn right they don't.

Better still, this particular car already has the pedigree of being owned and driven by a real, live US Marine Corps attack jet pilot (that's me). Act now!

UPDATE: PRICE REDUCED - $35k obo

* This should not be construed in any way as dissuading you from acting in a fiscally responsible manner.
** Blueprint 3 is a great album, I don't care what you think. If you buy the car, I'll burn you a copy.

Probably the least important thing to worry about…and you might need to wonder why OP (a [self-described] real, live US Marine Corps attack jet pilot) is trading this in on a…what? Mini-van?

Just saying...

He owns this car and he got jets. That's science. You can't argue with it.

If you want to fly big, ugly planes like me, stick with your Honda Accord.
And if you want to fly helos, a Subaru Outback?

This is obviously the chance of a lifetime for all of you Ensigns and 2nd Lts just starting flight school. By the simple act of purchasing this work of German automotive art you are guaranteed jets.

But wait, there's more! Since this is the actual vehicle driven by a real, live US Marine Corps attack jet pilot, you will, upon earning those coveted wings, be authorized to park in the squadron CO's assigned parking spot. Once.

Let the bidding frenzy begin.

I like the way you think. You know what? I'll even throw in a signed (by me) guarantee stating that you will get jets.*

Squeeze, you headed to relieve Moe?

Nah. Harrier PEP with the Italian Navy. Brutal, I know.

* With that, alignment of the heavens, the needs of the DON, and good grades in flight school, you're golden.

Not quite yet. I'm going to get a used beater while I'm over there; probably a 3-series, A4, or a VW something.

The plan upon return is for something ridiculous and completely unnecessary. The short (but ever-changing) list for now is: 997 GT2, 991 GT3, 991 Turbo, 575M, F430, etc... I also have a kinda dream project 65/66 Mustang Fastback project in mind. Who knows.

However you slice it, there will likely be some wildly irresponsible expenditures of money on something to get me from point A to point B.

Holy shit! You must either be single or have a sugar momma! That is almost identical to my "what if" short list, and I also have a Cayman S.

Bump to a great deal and an awesome car. I love mine.

Probably obvious to you, but the 575M and F430 are not usually everyday drivers. Hope you have something else to drive. Ordinary daily driving will quickly devalue an investment in those types of vehicles. They aren't Caymans. Good luck all the same. I will be eagerly awaiting your return to learn how you chose. In fact, keep us informed of your search and thought processes while there.
