Hey, we can not judge (as Adam Carolla used to say). All cultures are equally valid. But when a "culture" stones a girl for being raped.. Their culture sucks, and might just have to be dealt with like an unruly child.

When are we going to hear an apology from Karzai for the continued murder of US troops by ANA, ANP, ABP?
FTFY. It's all politics. Always has been, always will be.It's all a political gameto these people.
He apologizes.... It's all a political game to these people.
The President apologizes to families of each servicemember killed? Is that something new? When is CinC going to apologize to the families of those two killed? I mean, he tripped over himself rushing to apologize for the burning.
no - he doesn't, and that's fine - it was rhetorical question (and i suspect you knew that). but to knock down the door to apologize to a corrupt leader of a savage nation for the caveman antics of its people... yeah, that struck me as unfortunate. The President apologizes to families of each servicemember killed? Sorry, but if you believe that Sr. B, then you're an unfortunate idiot, IMHO.Hey, we can not judge (as Adam Carolla used to say). All cultures are equally valid.Gotta agree with MB on this one.
Check sarcasm detector. This-->Sorry, but if you believe that Sr. B, then you're an unfortunate idiot, IMHO.
I guess they're all just catching up to the Marine Corps in their studies... After all, it's on the Commandant's Reading List for 2ndLt's/WO-1's/CWO-2's...The war colleges of all the services hold him in pretty high esteem.
For what it's worth, I've read The Art of War probably a half dozen times.
Agreed. It's a foundation that CW builds upon. They teach Mao here as well. Pretty interesting from an insurgency point of view.I guess they're all just catching up to the Marine Corps in their studies... After all, it's on the Commandant's Reading List for 2ndLt's/WO-1's/CWO-2's...
For what it's worth, I've read The Art of War probably a half dozen times. I think that it is rather low level thinking, suitable for company grade officers/NCOs. I've also read On War by Clausewitz. I think that's a more suitable book for the level they're supposedly teaching at war colleges.
Check sarcasm detector. This-->is usually good tipper.

I know, perfect storm, or something.I think you agreeing with me saturated his sarcasm detector.
Then I sincerely apologize. I'm not NATOPS-qualified in smiley-faces and other little cartoon features. I flew in a/c that didn't have computers.Check sarcasm detector. This-->is usually good tipper.
