New Years 2010 Resolutions

All right, time for the New Year. Time to lay down some resolutions for the next year...maybe putting them in writing in front of everyone will help them stick...probably not...

1. Get back in shape...I mean seriously, actually get off my ass, run 3x a week, maybe squeeze out some sit-ups and push-ups and not have to ricky-count for the PFA anymore...

2. Pay off the credit cards...all of them, all the way, and stop using them...

3. Back off the ground job and get back to flying...not just PQS, but actually get an understanding of the NATOPS, 3710, Tactics, and not look like a douche everytime I get asked a power supply question...

4. Get one of my enlisted sailors into a comissioning program...

5. Learn to keep my mouth shut and my ears open...no, really...

6. Understand "the wedge"...

7. Get my son potty trained...if not this year, then the next...

8. 2P by end of March (7 months) and PPC board complete by the end of deployment (16 months)

9. Run a marathon (see # 1)

10. Learn A-4's and HAL's true identity (and prove Flash is a spy sent from the future to bring about the downfall of humanity :icon_king)

Also, #4 is an awesome goal. I heartily concur with that one. But, also have the honest assessment with someone if their record isn't up to snuff. (PO3 Jones, see this Captain's Mast entry here, um, yeah....)
