I used to fly for AFSOC. Flash is right SOCOM has it's own budget and can force through just about anything it wants. Talking with my spy's in the puzzle palace (AFSOC HQ) they are buying C-12's and UAVs. After the the AF made a big push to cut bodies over the last couple of years...they are trying to get 1000 pilots back.

Second of all, we have had problems with someone from your neck of the woods (at least where your IP address says you are) who claimed to be AFSOC helo guy and was outed as a fake.

Be warned, we are REALLY good about sniffing out fakers.
