All cool points that you earn for having a nice rifle are immediately forfeited for having 5 cell phones, a blue-tooth, web cam, and split screen on your home computer. That shit is teh-homo gehy.

By the way, you live in California. You should start expecting a knock on the door any minute now.

OK- Agreed- I choose a different photo that has less techno BS. My job unfortunately make me appear like a techo gay. The blackberry is the final straw. That said -if I brought that thing back with a 7.62mm hole in it they'd find a way to make my position go away. Unfortunatley I have to deal with it for 7 more years until retirement.

Then again a close up of a precision shot to the blackberry would make a great avatar. Thanks for the concept!

As an aside ... HK just 'settled' their lawsuit w/ ATI -- the importer/distributor for the GSG models ... ATI can't import anymore and all sales of existing stocks have to be completed by sometime early in 2010.

Sooooooooooo ... is HK going to license (probably at a significant price bump?) a .22 cal HK 'look-alike', a.k.a. the current GSG series ... ?? If so ... your GSG might go up exponentially in value -- even if it is 'just a .22'.

Bottom line: once again, HK customer service sends the message to all of us in the USofA --- "YOU SUCK AND WE HATE YOU" ...

Well that little ol' .22 is a dandy. Have her sighted in and she's pretty accurate to 100 yds. Where I aim is where she impacts. She likes mexican, federal and CCI ammo, doesn't care for remington or winchester.

I've been using mostly CCI 'hot' .22's (Stingers, Mini-Mag, etc.) and some Winchester fodder that I've had sitting around and it and the PDW look-alike both eat 'em all ...

I like to eat Mexican, too ... chili rellenos son mi favoritas ... :)

How do you like the Saiga?

I like them a lot. Truely one of the most fun guns I've ever fired. Those are 5 round mags on the two Saiga's above. I have both 12 round mags (very long) and a 20 round drum too. Dumping 20 rounds of buckshot as fast as you can pull the trigger is an ass load of fun. Kinda like a sholder fired CBU.

The one on the far right is a Tromix converted Saiga 12 with folding stock, SAW pistol grip, HK night sights and a brake. The one beside it is a standard Saiga 12. It's just as much fun to shoot but doesn't balance quite as well. I have all the parts and plan to convert it myself as soon as I get the nerve.

Mini-14

I bought a new in the box Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle carbine in blued steel and polished wood from a friend today. Came with the original 5 round magazine and 5 twenty round mags, also got 300 rounds of .223 with it. :)

Bring on the Zombies....or at least the gang bangers.

Pics to follow.

Let us know how she shoots. The new ones are supposed to be much more accurate that the old ones. (stiffer barrels I think)

My kids learned to shoot centerfire simi-autos on a Mini-14. I still own it and will never sell it. Mucho good memories attached to it.

6 bills for the whole deal. Unfired. Also got a set of Ruger scope rings made for this model.

My friend bought it in 2006 and had the original receipt for it in the box.

Rifle alone was $570 new. Brick of .223 ammo was then $75. Then add the 5 extra Ruger mags and tax, so I'm very good with it.
