FY10 STA-21 Applicants gather round!

This is my first time applying.

320/09 is taken by another "personal for" message on psychological health and suicide risks of Sailors. I still think 324/09 sounds good. :)
How was everybody's Halloween?
 
Did I get 2000? Guess Not, Holloween was good. I had a few drinks and then came back on the boat for duty the next day.

I apologize and stand corrected. I said Bupers based of the name of the Admiral they gave me. I just looked it up to be sure, and it is Navy Personnel Command. Regardless of the command though, the information they gave me remains the same. I would post names, but I am trying to avoid irate individuals from letting their frustration get the best of them causing them to do something stupid.

You sir are defiantly correct though, they will be out when they are out. At this point there is no point in stressing over any of it. I almost did not want to post what they told me, but I figured if it was me, I would rather know I had a bit more of a wait coming instead of having high hopes for today, tomorrow, and so on until they actually come out. Trust me, I wish today would be the day too and I hope what they told me is just some line of bull, but I seriously doubt it is.

Thanks for the info. Though it deflates hopes, it provides realistic insight of what to expect...
 
This is my first time, and I do agree it is torture waiting. The results decide if I am staying in or going on my way. oh well. guess they'll be out when they come out.

Nope never an alternate. My first year I went for IWO, then years 2-4 I went SWO. This year I am now too old for SWO and had to go back to IWO. Actually I am also too old for the core program. My options are pretty much limited to IWO or CEC at this point, but next year I am also eligible for LDO so I will probably double dip on the packages if it comes back do not pass go do not collect $200.
