Just wait until you see the forward firing guns package in the works... after a decade or so of proven capability.... maybe the brass will see to it that we actually get to employ it...

Ha ha ha ha! They were talking about that back when I was in the Navy..as far back as 1987. Don't get me worng. I hope it happens. But being realistic...it has taken this long just to get that version with the Hellfires. I know...we had a few aircraft that could shoot Hellfires back in the 90s, but mainstream???

Its not much different in the Army. Our guard unit finally got rid of 1983 vintage UH-60As this year for 2008/2009 HH-60Ms!

Is this 'SUPER' Hornet 'SUPER' heavy ... or just slow to rotate ... ??? In spite of the narrative, I suspect a slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow rotation on a T&G. But that's just me ... :)
