I didn't say that I go around calling fat people fat to insult them (because I don't), nor was I intending to insult any fat people in my post. I apologize if what I said did insult you. It's just something that I, as someone who's never been fat, honestly don't understand. If that makes me an asshole, so be it.
There are many people who are fat that can not help it.
My grandmother had a thyroid condition. I doubt the lady ever ate more than 800 calories a day (mostly salads & vegetables) yet she was the size of a truck. The medication she took basically inhibited her body from burning fat and her water retention was out of this world.
I spent an entire Navy career running daily to keep my weight in check. It resulted in arthritis in both knees and I can no longer run without knee pain & swelling. Bike riding is also out due to the bending and bone damage too. So I had a choice when I retired - accept a weight gain and be happy drinking my beer and enjoying my food, or be miserable staying skinny. I choose to enjoy life and accept the fat I'd been fighting my entire life was going to win. (Yeah this is an over simplification but you get the idea. I do exercise.)
So in my case fat is a choice where in my Grandmother's case, it wasn't.
The thing is, if you don't understand a situation, it's usually best to just STFU or you will likely make an asshole out of yourself. Not understanding a situation is fine. Making snide comments about what you don't understand makes you an ass.
Some of us are okay with just being an ass. I had a pic for ya HAL but just took it off. Didn't want to be to much of an ass I guess.
I'm no perfectionist, in fact, girls that aren't smoking hot make me feel less self conscious and better about doing them. Even if a girl IS hot, if she's disgustingly stupid or bitchy, I just can't do it.
My wiener KNOWS if I'm disgusted by a girl deep down and will operate accordingly. I like to think of attraction as a factor of sexiness of personality x hotness. Now, what were we talking about?
