I just got a new TV and only get one HD channel right now, its horrible.

*Threadjack*

ET1, I totally recommend DirectTV. I pay $60 a month for Digital cable, at least 100 HD channels and HD-DVR. Also DirectTV just put up another HD satellite and claim at least 200 HD channels in the near future.

A-12 or so i was told.

I heard the same thing: 4-wire + rollout for A-12 = swimming. Interestingly, I can't seem to find anything authoritative to back it up, even from the soup-to-nuts A-12 story "The 5 Billion Dollar Misunderstanding". (Which is an interesting read, up to a point - the author has a definite position, and the book is a heavy treatise on contract law. But if you want to understand why we''re looking at all-Hornet airwings, this is a good start...)

I doubt it is rollout, the difference between a "normal" rollout and a "two block" is a matter of a few feet. As energy to be dissapated increases the rollout does not change significantly, just the speed at which the valves close.

I think it was just more of a case that the A-12 was so big and came aboard so fast, it was too much energy for the system to absorb. That POS was so far over weight and approach specs, it was criminal. ADM Dunleavy pissed off a lot of people when he CNXed the program, but at least he had the balls to shut down a program that was waaay out of control.

If only someone had done that with the Hornet...
