It interesting to me that that most recruiting ads seems to be targeted at enlisted recruiting, but they show the officer eagle globe and anchor at the end

I noticed this a while ago when looking at a USMC poster hanging somewhere. A friend suggested that the officer EGA "looks cooler"

The advertisements are geared towards "Marine recruiting," and do not specify officer or enlisted accessions.

HOWEVER, up until 2002, television commercials 'starred' officers - the Mameluke sword in the 1985 Super Bowl commercial, officers playing chess, slaying dragons, etc. Beginning with "The Climb," released in '02, enlisted Marines were featured.

Ive actually seen that on television once but that is it. Other than that its always been the lava monster or the rock climbling ads.

What ever happened to the hot forge hammering out a sword. That was the best Marine commercial ever, I believe it was the last to use the "We're looking for a few Good Men". Find that and I will be impressed as I am sure all you future lava monster slayers will too.
