Does anyone know if they are taking ISEL on this board? And what exactly is ISEL lol. I qualify for ISEL but I hear that its still not guaranteed? Can someone fill me in. I would ask my recruiter but he's on leave

In general AD have found out at the same time or later than civilians, it just has to do with the process of notifying the commands who then notify the sailors while non-AD get results direct from their recruiters often pretty quick.
There can be reasons for AD getting notified early sometimes, but generally AD getting their results first is the exception not the rule.

Applied for this May board with the SNA ISPP route! Will probably throw in an application for the June board as well because why not!
Timeline question for anyone with insight: Was informed I can't submit my ISEL app till after I finish my part time grad school in May. This puts me after the deadline for the May and June boards. I am debating sending my packet in for the regular board in June. However, it seems that this is a "50/50" on if it will happen board.
Is it dumb to submit to the june board regardless of ISEL scores? Worried if I wait to submit ISEL I'd end up DQ'd from past MJ usage and be SOL.

I-SEL requires no waivers, so the MJ usage (if it's 5-6x or more) will require you to be on the regular board anyway.
The MJ usage did not require a waiver. Are you saying if it’s no waiver -> you’re good?

MJ usage over 5-6 times (I keep forgetting the exact number) requires a waiver. So, if you didn't need a waiver, you can check off that box for ISEL.

Each person that has said they were removed from the ISEL process has also said they had experimental use of MJ and didn't need a waiver, however the Aviation community has declined to process them ISEL anyway.

Was told I CANT put down SNA, only SNFO on my APSR. Is this normal? I had to re-sign an expired sheet and was pretty much told no. I was not given an exact reason. First i was told because its two boards, I explained that its not true. Then i was told its to give me the best shot, etc.
EDIT:
was later explained that they are not looking for pilots, and thats why my APSR was held up for close to 4 months. Question is, if im not picked up for the may board (last date to apply is april 3rd) cant I just apply in June if they are allowing street SNAs?

There… isn’t a May board for SNA off the street; next possible one is June 1

Ah thats probably why they didn’t let me. I didn’t expect that to hold up my waivers though, they told me to change it to SNFO and it’ll be processed asap.
