Congrats to the major command selects! The road to major clearly runs through Millington (for VP at least!).

Sorry to say it's a mixed bag of leadership quality for the few I know on the list; really spans the spectrum from awesome to "why wasn't there an IG?"

How much “sea” is there in “major command at sea” at a patreconwing? As much as I think there is?

So Brett, are you going to get NS Mayport and get the full SWO experience AND deal with Fourth Fleet during hurricane spool-ups? Fun times.

Honestly, probably more "sea" than either of the VFA CDREs, given that the VP CDREs are more than just man/train/equip, and are generally more competitive for flag.

That would be fun. In a weird meta/full circle kind of way, I could tell the Ordies at NS Mayport station weps to change out that BRU-14 with a torpedo hanging off it that I installed in 1997 on the 60 on a stick out front. I'm pretty sure it's due for PM. :)

You could also tell them not to rig port-side GAU-21s since no aircraft on base can shoot them. And yet, they build them that way.
