Longtime lurker first time poster. Got the call for 1835 this morning. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the help throughout this process. I used the threads regarding motivational statements and a host of other topics to prepare documents based on the groups' recommendations. All of the info here was very beneficial as I was trying to learn more about the process and submit a competitive package. Thanks again for people taking the time to offer their experiences and recommendations to help applicants like myself.

I can hardly believe that I was actually selected. I'm in shock and afraid it's a mistake like the year I got the call I made Chief to only be told it wasn't actually me, but one of the other IS1 Joshua Johnsons. My recruiter called me last night and said he had trouble finding my name since it apparently got put under a different recruiting district result which is the reason I'm scared. Anyone know if these get publicly listed somewhere?

Final numbers for this board:
2- Oceanography (1805)
9- IP Selected (1815)
7-CW Selected (1825)
67-Intel Selected (1835)

Total 85 Selects out of 178 packages!
Also a lot of the IPs and CW's are coming in as O2/O3 so extra congrats if thats any of you.

Wow, what a very generous board! Hopefully depending on the election our current budget persists.

I did not get selected. Working to redo my package and go for the next board in the Spring. I had a great package and great interviews, but my OIC interview appraisal was not strong as we didn't seem to click in the interview. Those interview appraisals make all the difference so make sure you all give it your best in those.

I’m curious, did you get to see your OIC appraisal Or are you just saying that by what you felt? Kind of felt the same way myself.
