Initial reports of torpedos seems like bad gouge. I dunno, but I’d guess if those ships were struck with torpedos (not the early WW2 versions) they’d be at the bottom.?.

That was my thought. Maybe a mine, or a drone boat with explosives?
Mines would be more the Iranian style.

i.e. “organized effort” vs “yahoo IRGCN commander making his boss go ‘you did WHAT to the oil tanker??’”
